CONSULTATIONS
Oracular reading
This tool helps if you are at a crossroads, find yourself stuck or looking for guidance. Every reading reveals the spiritual principle at the core of your inquiry, points out projections that are limiting progress, and advises your next steps of action. You must be ready to act, or you may find more discomfort when the veil is lifted. I will interpret the reading and you will walk away from our session feeling empowered and equipped. Your intuition will be louder.
This is a powerful experience meant to be used only in moderation and with defined intention. I have found it to be a clear channel to expose truths and remove barriers and I want to share its accuracy with others. Bring your most fearless and open hearted self and be prepared to unearth unforgettable messages. Please note that I can only support a maximum of three people per day and certain days are blocked due to astrological guidance.
We meet together to consult the oracle for insight into your query. After selecting your preferred time, please read the info and instructions carefully and complete the short inquiry form. Sessions occur via video call lasting 45 minutes to an hour. You will get an email invitation and a link after confirming your appointment time.
Before we meet, take time and consider your inquiry. This is very important and more details are shared when our appointment is confirmed.
*As a student of the method since 2020, I receive no financial compensation during this apprentice period. If you want to contribute monetarily, a donation can be made to the elders of the Nafsa Project School (please enquire).
AL SHUDD, THE CLOSING OF THE BONES AFTER PREGNANCY
medicine + ceremony
Patriarchal capitalism + colonialism tried to leave the healing of the new mother behind.
The unified traditions of all of our ancestral mothers around the world are nearly lost, at a time when we need them most to strengthen our resiliancy.
From my Moroccan heritage, we have specific healing rituals that have been passed down “from the beginning of time” to honor, nourish, and close the ‘nfissa’ or new mother. Al shudd literally means to close the bones, and this tradition from the Amazigh healers in Morocco predates the Islamic colonization in the 7th century.
In many ancient cultures there is a saying that the grave of a new mother is open for forty days. She is at her most vulnerable and so we must nurture, celebrate, and heal her with natural herbs, the closing ritual, and spiritual ceremony.
The Nafsa Project School was founded to preserve the sacred traditional healing for the ‘Nfissa/Nafsa’ or ‘new mother'. These rituals are performed after pregnancy, and are adjusted depending on whether or not the nafsa carried to term.
“I humbly offer these sacred practices in the tradition as they were taught to me in the Maghreb by the honorable Qabla (midwife) Amina, Rahma, and Fatima. Infinite thank you to Layla B for laying the path with love and encouragement. I promise to uphold the rituals as they have been passed down from my ancestors to heal our sisters in need.”
